Do you talk to your dolls?

I don't talk to all of them and now that I think about it, the ones I don't talk to are the ones I wouldn't have too much trouble letting go of. Then there are the other dolls that just seem to be on the same wavelength as me and I can't help talking to them. My latest doll is a rescue from ebay that was quite dirty and even had streaks of paint on her. She still has a few blemishes that I can't fix, but then none of us are perfect. Somehow, it seems to make her more real and I have been talking to her since she arrived. I didn't have the best of beginnings myself so I imagine this doll and I have something in common there. I would say that we are both quite lucky and very grateful to have found a nice home. [img]graemlins/rose.gif[/img]

I called Anna "Anna-Banana" and Jess "Jess-Jess." I also made them help me with my term papers. They're great listeners when you just need to talk things through. [img]wink.gif[/img] Just don't tell the family. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Edit: I never really talked to Molly for some reason... I still feel like a traitor now that they're almost all "locked-up" now, though.

I never used to, but I'm starting to talk to them more. And sometimes they talk back- they have to if they talk to each other. Sometimes we read each others minds if there are other people in the room, and talk that way.

Sure thing. I talk to myself all the time anyway, and talking to my dolls is just an extension of that. I'll talk to them as I'm changing their clothes or something.
